I know what it’s like to finish a 12-hour shift, utterly exhausted, and still have a dozen financial worries swirling in your head, I’m Huyen Myers (Monica), and for years, I am a Registered Nurse right here in Florida. In fact, I still pick up about four PRN shifts a month and a travel assignment here and there, because being a nurse is a core part of who I am. I’ve been there, and I’m still there.

I love my work, but I saw so many of my brilliant, compassionate colleagues — and myself — struggling with the same cycle: unpredictable overtime pay, the temptation of “burnout" spending,” and the confusion of trying to figure out a 403(b) after a long week. We were experts at providing care, but when it came to our own money, we were often just guessing.

I knew there had to be a better way.

I founded Shift 2 Wealth because I believe that the same people who take care of our communities deserve to have unshakable financial security. For me, this work is a calling. My financial philosophy is built on a foundation of timeless, biblical principles—stewardship, diligence, and finding peace and contentment with our resources. My mission is to help you organize your finances not just for your own peace of mind, but to empower you to live generously and purposefully. I traded my scrubs for spreadsheets and am now a dedicated financial coach, currently completing the Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) designation, to give nurses the tools and the confidence they were never taught in school.

This isn’t just a business for me; it’s a continuation of my commitment to care. My mission is to help you organize your finances, eliminate that nagging money stress, and build a life of financial freedom that you so richly deserve.
